Axoft is building the most advanced and scalable platform for implantable brain-machine interface. Our mission is to enable minimally invasive, long-term stable and ultra-high bandwidth communication with the brain, opening new therapies and treatments against neurological disorders and physical imparities. As a microfabrication engineer at Axoft, you will be working with Microfabrication teams in nanofabrication facilities to manufacture the softest neural probes in the world. This job will be on-site at Cambridge, MA.

Key qualifications:
- Desire to work reliably with small and delicate processes where precision is critical.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor program in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields.
- Attention to details, able to follow fabrication protocols and deliver reliable results in a timely manner, keep detailed notations for fabrication procedures.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields.
- Hands on experience fabricating devices in cleanroom.
- Experience with soft materials handling and patterning.
